On the hunt for an easy to follow, step-by-step rope bondage tutorial? What about BDSM tips – like how to pick a flogger, spanking basics, or advice for D/s couples? A frank discussion about the psychology of cuckolding with experienced kinsters? Or perhaps insight from BDSM experts on what causes fetishes?

No matter your kink curiosity, Youtube has it all! There’s a thriving community of kink creators and BDSM educators covering very sex and fetish topic under the sun from kink 101 videos to advanced topics. Here are a few of our favorites – they also happen to be considered among the best BDSM YouTube channels too. Some of these kinky YouTubers are also right here on Zipper Magazine.

A professional dominant from the Great White North, Morgan Thorne brings a huge breadth of expertise to her videos. Check her out for some smart commentary on the realities and ethics of the BDSM scene as well as some personal talk about kink and disability.

In only a few years, Evie Lupine has become a BDSM education institution on YouTube. If that makes you wonder if that’s a good or bad thing – it’s good. YouTube and the internet at large is a smarter, sexier place because of Evie’s commentary on DDLG, brats, pet play, current events, and much more.

Rory is the rope nerd’s rope nerd, as you can tell from one glance at his video list. He does detailed rope harness tutorials as well as bondage tutorials for cuffs and virtually everything else you can do with rope and a willing partner. With only a few of his videos, you’ll level up your rope bondage know-how plus your Shibari ties will become more visually stunning.

If you want your sex advice smart, dishy, and queer, Pup Amp and Mr. Kristofer are for you. All their episodes are laced with rapid-fire banter between the two hosts while never losing sight of the fact that many aspects of BDSM need to be taken seriously. If you haven’t checked out at least a couple of their videos, you’re missing out on a vital part of the kinky internet.

Those just beginning to explore kink sometimes think that being a submissive is easy — all you have to do is lie there and obey, right? But being a good sub is so much more, and that’s where Submissive Guide comes in. Their videos cover everything from proper use of safewords, to BDSM scene ideas, to tips and strategies submissives can use to advocate for their own needs.

Veronica Yahns’s channel is geared specifically towards kink “curious beginners” just starting their BDSM journey. If all the terms and abbreviations start to feel a little overwhelming after only a few Google searches, Veronica is a good person to help you sort out where and how to start — as well as when you should call out “stop!” (or “red!”)

A classically elegant European Dominatrix, Amalie von Stein brings her expertise on latex fetish, domination, medical play, and more to her well-made BDSM tutorials & instructionals. Her videos are angled towards both kink-curious and experienced BDSM enthusiasts alike. You may very well find something that fires up an entirely new interest in your kinky little heart — even if you thought you’d done it all.

Not to blow our own horn (ok, maybe a little), but if you like what we’re doing here, you should definitely subscribe to Zipper Magazine’s own YouTube channel to keep track of the kink education, fetish spotlight, BDSM interview (and more!) videos we produce. Just in case you miss one.

Midori is one of the best and most well-known educators in the BDSM scene. Although she’s long been known as one of the first people to teach Shibari in the U.S., her knowledge on kink etiquette and ethics is virtually encyclopedic. In her Consent Dojo video series, she digs deep into the realities of negotiation and respecting consent in BDSM, sex, and every-day contexts. In each episode, she brings on a different educator to converse for a full 90 minutes about the nuances of consent, kink, and community.

“When you play with power,” Sam Jones writes, “you have to communicate, it is vulnerable and therefore very, very intimate.” She works hard in her videos to help others find that intimacy, especially through the act of submission. Going through her channel alone could give you an impressive education, touching on everything from how to do a striptease to exploring figging.

Four gay men, all veterans of the queer leather scene, gather with guests to savor cigars and talk about the history and future of their kink communities. How could that be anything other than riveting, especially when the hosts include Mr. Kristofer and Pup Amp of Watts the Safeword; noted BDSM author Race Bannon; and the aptly-named “Cigar Pig.” Tune in for some great insights on the role kink and bondage have had in establishing queer movements, and where we can go from here.

Consent is the cornerstone of all BDSM, kink, and fetish play. This goes beyond simply saying “yes” or “no” to proposed activities.

Best Kink Podcasts

Conversations about sex, fetish & kink can be fun, entertaining, and educational. Because podcasts and videos allow for in-depth conversations, they’re ideal for exploring these nuanced topics.

BDSM classes

There’s always something new to learn about kink and fetish play. While books and websites are invaluable resources, they can only take you so far.

BDSM Books

If you‘re interested in learning more about kink, one of the best ways is through books. Why? While Google searches can sometimes be helpful, it can be hard to differentiate quality BDSM education from misleading info.
